No, this isn't in the wrong forum despite the title ! I watched the 1967movie "Bonnie and Clyde" with Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty last night. No !! they didn't come by my house to watch it - they were IN it ! lol
Seriously though, up pops Gene Hackman as Clydes brother Buck and he's wearing a great old A2 jacket thats beaten to hell and looks ultra cool with shirt / tie. Of course ! says I to myself - these jackets have been around since long before Miss Parker and Mr Barrow made bank robberies look romantic ! Point is, I'd fallen into the trap of thinking that an A2 would only ever really look 'right' as part of a USAAF ensemble. 'Taint so ! from now on I'll be wearing mine from time to time with 'civilian' shirts/ties/shoes etc
