A little late with this one; it's Bow Tie Friday from last week. A Blenheim from Beau Ties.

This Friday's bow-tie-ness. (Where's all the other Bow Tie Guys? This has devolved into one fella's hobby horse.)

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I've somehow managed to not notice this thread before today. Since college back in the early '80s, I've wished I was one of those men who could "pull off" wearing a bow tie. One day a couple of weeks ago, I saw some on clearance at Belks and thought "certainly I'm too old to care what anyone thinks anymore". Since that evening, anytime I've not been in uniform, I've been wearing a bowtie. I'm up to 5 so far. (All of them new, but I've only just started searching) Here is one of my favorites, a Diamond Point made of suiting wool, from The Tie Bar.

(Hat removed, as my silly phone/camera needs all the light it can get.)
