Legendary P-38 Operation Bolero pilot Brad McManus will be presenting a talk at the Wings of Freedom Museum on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11th. The presentation will begin at 7 pm and will last approximately one hour, with a period for questions. He will discuss his experiences crash-landing his Lightning on the Greenland ice and surviving for ten days before rescue, and then living to see one of his airplanes, "Glacier Girl" exhumed and restored to flight again. This is quite possibly his last public appearance.
The Museum is located adjacent to the Willow Grove Naval Air Station in Horsham, PA., at 1155 Easton Rd. All events are FREE. No base access is required to come to the program. Anyone needing more information is welcome to PM me.
