When I bought my early C-Helmet, it had a chin strap of old web material crudely affixed with the remnant of the original leather chin strap tapered and left in place as a sort of pull tab.
I ordered a replacement repro strap from Sefton Clothing. Steven sent the quality repro strap with amazing speed, even pre-punching the stitching holes. I intentionally attached the repro strap in the wrong rung as I wanted to leave the remnants of the original in place.
As Steven said that he has seen few C-Helmets with the brass chin strap rivets instead of the sewn, I thought I would post some pics for fellow Loungers. And you can see how nice the repro strap is!
