I received my Brave Star Selvage Rider jacket yesterday and it is a nice piece of work.
For comparison, here is a shot of my Iron Heart Rider jacket:
Both jackets have almost exactly the same cut and fit. The IH is a size XXXL while the Brave Star is an XXL. At 18oz the IH feels a bit more substantial than the 15oz Brave Star.
Overall I like the IH more, but it also cost more than 3X the price of the Brave Star jacket. Bottom line I don’t think you can go wrong either way and it’s nice to know that Brave Star makes a quality product.
