Highlights of this jacket:
1) There is actually no V taper from chest to hem. Only 2" circumference in difference, 1" in half, tapers like boxy A2 jackets. But it is cut so it looks very V tapered. Very impressive pattern. Forget the measurements. Go with expanded chest size.
2) 1/8" topstitch allowance. Gotta love them. Makes the whole jacket looks a lot fancier.

The Mccoy model number is BJ7102-030. I think you can still special order this non padded one. This one is from at least 10 years ago.

Buco is cool because the patterns are very cool. Pattern sorcery...

BJ7102 is a 2007 pattern. As to the original Buco J82 configuration? Not sure if Buco makes it first since Grais also has one with the same configuration.

Maybe the Grais current generation are also on this forum. Or Cohn? And they can shed some light into the Grais past with some family photos if they are open to it. Would love to know the history behind the name, including the journey from then Nazi Russia to Chicago.

My vintage RMC J82 may or may not be from the very first The Real McCoy days but was from the Nylon McCoy days. I’m not sure. Still need to double check it against the first three The Real McCoy catalogue. I think the tag size/measurement will tell me this whole story. This jacket was not in the Vol.1, and I don’t have Vol.2 or 3 yet. Hopefully those two older but more recent catalogues will have more info.
