California Sportswear cross zip half belt in a solid sz 40. Made a new quilted liner from scratch using the correct original acetate material. Also completely refined all of the pockets as they tend to be dirty/nasty after 80 yrs.. really solid jacket! Would date it to mid/late 40’s by the Talon zipper.

Measurements as follows.
shoulders= 19”
chest = 22”
waist = 21”
length = 25”
sleeve = 24.5”

asking $600 obo Includes shipping/ insurance in the states. Overseas plus shipping/insurance

So sorry for the delay updating this to “sold”. we have had some bad storms roll through this week and one knocked out the electric, internet and phone signal booster and has taken almost a week to get our poor service here in the mountains back to working order.
Jacket was sold first of the week a few mins after I posted the updated sleeve measurements, then everything went dark here.
Here’s the lightning tracker for the one that did all of the damage. Was quite a show, thankfully, no damage here at the house.

I hope you doing well along with your loved ones. Thank you for the update. I was very interested since I am a big Californian fan. Have been following your nice restoration from the flight jacket forum.

Thanks guys! We’re safe. We actually live just about 5 miles east of all the mess pictured, and usually storms hit the mountains and split up bounce around and lose a lot of force. All of our electric/utilities come through there though, so we are last on list of getting service repaired. The electric company is currently running fiberoptic internet out this way so think a lot of the recent issues have a lot to do with that. Will be worth the hassle though when it’s completed and we get decent internet. What we get now isn’t much better than the old dial up from 20 yrs ago…

I was lucky enough to buy this jacket and it's an absolute beauty. The lining job is perfect too.

Steve is a great seller and sent out the jacket quickly. I plan to have a jacket made by @Steve S. in the near future. The examples I've seen that he has made look superb.
