That is the question.
Can you convert fixed bowties (clip-on, pre-tied) to self-styled ones?
This would require for the bow to be untied; then, if the "donor" is a clip-on, the missing part that goes around the neck should be added (this being invisible under the collar, could be fashioned from a different cloth or transplanted from an unwanted bowtie); if the "donor" is a pre-tied, you already have this part, although maybe you have to do some reassembling.
What do you think? I do not have actual examples of the varieties I mention, so it could be there is some glitch I am not anticipating. Can this be done successfully, and within a reasonable amount of effort?
