Last night I was watching (for the 400th time) the original '33 version of King Kong. In the beginning of the movie, the lead guy, Carl Denham, is wearing a fabulous hat. Of course, most all the guys in the scene are wearing them. Boy I wish those times were back! Not the depression...just the hats!
