I’m looking for a jacket that has this loose drapey look. I have a tighter Moto that is good but I am in between M and L and sometimes like the L feeling.

Is it really as simple as buying a size up what would I look for? I am still embarrassingly bad at the math of my measurements and purchasing.

I only have 1 leather, so my next I want it to be bigger for a hoodie but not the trendy cartoonish baggy jackets.

Not necessary. You want the arm length and back length still fit, while the shoulder a bit dropping and the chest has room to give. Look for a pattern with wide shoulder and short arm length. My Warehouse & Co., Kit Karson, and to a lesser extent, Star Glove, jackets are like this.

Sizing up a regular jacket is going to look like you went through your grandpa’s closet.

Consider a boxy fit like a trucker or an Aero Highwayman.

Picture of the arrest of the darkly famous teenage serial killer Charles Starkweather in 1958, wearing a biker jacket, although he's better known for wearing a style 2 Levi's, as pictured in the real events inspired Terrence Malick movie "Badlands" with Martin Sheen...

I was super close to buying the same/similar jacket. Machine *** Kelly style icon award 2025 wearing a Hercules A2. Wonder if it’s the same with adequate conditioning.

The current basist of my (probably) all-time favorite band since I was a teenager rocking a full leather tuxedo (leather jacket + leather pants + leather boots) in a recent show in Milan:
He definitely seems to be a fan of leather jackets, I've seen with several different ones. But I can't recognize or identify any of them. Guess they are more of the generic designer/fashion kind. Oh well.

Troy and Dean ain't strangers to leather jackets either (as seen here in a leather coat and a d-pocket):

And, of course, Josh (the leader singer and probably my favorite musician of all time) is no stranger to them either:

Great photos, great band!

Have seen them a bunch of times, but lately, Josh always seems totally wasted once he gets on stage.

I've never seen them live, but I'm a big fan of their early-mid career music. And Josh has been know to come on stage intoxicated on all kinds of substances throughout his career.

I am not a fan of Biopics or Springstein yet Hungry heart is my joint but I want to watch the new movie for the fits.

This belongs in recent movies but finished Le Samarai, would like a longer coat be it raglan herringbone or peacoat mostly due my newer pants having a wider seat.

Dudes wardrobe was sharp as heck

Anyone have any ideas what these 2 jackets might be? Some cool looking ones, quite short though

The one on the left looks like a generic Perfecto style jacket (the buckle reminds me of the various, cheaper knock-offs I wore in my teens and 20s, but I'm sure it's pricier than that assuming the young man in the picture is a celebrity). THe one on the right looks fairly distinctive. Don't know the label, but it should be identifiable. It's also a ladies' model if the shot hasn't been reversed, so it's from one of the labels that made those.
