Hi girls, I was hoping to pick your brains here. I was wondering if any of you knew anything about Charles Cooper 1940's clothes. I have read a while back that he was one of the designers for Lord and Taylor department store in the early days but don't really know much else.
The main reason for asking is that I have a suit by him that I bought a few years back at an absolute steal and bought it as (and believe it to be) from the 40's. I haven't been able to find anything like it since and so have no idea what it may be worth.
I would just love to know a little more about it and figured that you ladies (and gents) may be just the people to ask first. Many thanks.
