Cheap Japanese selvedge jeans in the UK

Uniqlo - a Japanese based company with 11 branches in London and the southeast - have some Japanese made selvedge jeans on their website for a very reasonable £39.99, in either black or blue. I've only seen pictures and haven't held any in my hands, but they look as though they may have a fairly high waist, and quite wide legs.

You can order online, or try one of their shops if you're in the southeast. I'll try to find some this weekend to see exactly what they're like.

I was looking at the distance between the lowest part of the crotch, which you can see between the legs, and the waist, and they didn't look like hipsters. The fly is quite short though, which makes them look low-waisted. I may be up in London tomorrow, so I'll make sure I find a pair and try them on.

Some of the observed "height" when the jeans are flat is lost when you
actually get them on.
