Do any folks here listen to this dapper Australian gentleman. Very tasty old-timey, bluesy, jazzy, banjo-pickin' hokum stuff.

Here is his myspace page. Hope you enjoy.

Old thread, I know. But, I just discovered C.W. over the past week and immediately searched around and ordered his first LP King Hokum from Germany! If anybody knows a place to get the LP of his second album Jungle Blues, let me know.

Anybody who missed this thread the first time, should check him out!

If you are talking about vinyl, I don't know, but the Jungle Blues CD is available on Amazon!

It's a good thing that we North Americans have the Aussies and the Europeans to preserve our musical heritage.

We'd be royally hooped if we didn't.

Slovensko, no less!

It's not quite the Ellington band at it's 1929 best, but then neither are we living in 1929!

Yeah, I noticed the CD on Amazon, but was looking for vinyl. Seems like a better listen that way. I actually only spent $4 more for the import from Germany, so it seems like somebody's hiking the prices. Oh well, I'll find it somewhere, I'm sure!
