This is a real beauty, jet black (not dark gray like the pictures show).
5 1/2 inches tall, head opening is 7 5/8 by 6 1/8, dimensional brim is 2 1/8 front & back, 1 3/8 (including curl) side to side.
Grosgrain is impeccable.
Sweatband is not brittle, but not wonderfully soft, either. It has a rolled top edge and a taped seam. The reeded area has some rough spots, but stitching looks intact all around. I pulled it back enough to find a crumbly size tag, but didn't want to turn it out entirely. Its new owner can decide whether to lubricate the leather or just leave it alone.
I'm posting a few pictures, but have more, so if you're interested PM me and I'll send you more. I don't know what to ask for it, but you know what you'd be happy to pay, so don't be shy. If there's no interest within a few days, I'll toss it into the bay, but I do hope one you bowler-less Loungers will give it a home.
Sorry I can't narrow down the date better. I'm just going by what Brad was kind enough to relate to me.
