I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around

Oh baby When I see your face
Mellow as the month of May
Oh darling I cant stand it
When you look at me that way

I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around

Oh darling When you're near me
And you tenderly call my name
I know that, My emotions
Are something I just cant tame
Ive just got to have you baby

I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down

I just lose control
Down to my very soul
I get hot and cold all over

I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
tumbling down, tumbling down...

It figures. I come home to Cali and what happens? Earthquake. Sigh. I was actually about 10 miles from Alum Rock where the epicenter was. We shook pretty good, but yeah, '89 was waaay worse. I think I almost prefer the tornados. At least those I can prepare for. I can hide in the bathroom under the stairs. I have no defense for the ground shaking under my feet.

Looking at Nashoba's avatar, I'd say there was a mix-up on the dance schedule. It should have rained instead. :p

We've been getting a bunch of little tremors up here in the desert lately. Never anything to worry about though, as there's absolutely nothing I would miss if it came crumbling to the ground.

...and the news said there were no casualities!

You may be able to prepare for Tornadoes, but at least here we don't have an earthquake season. It was a nice little ride though. The only reason that I was even the slightest bit worried is because I now have a 4 month old daughter to worry about. If I was on my own my only concern would be will my vintage radio topple!

Nah we were running late in sitting down to practice for the memorial songs for our elder. He hated us starting late. We all figured it was his way of kicking us into gear...worked too...
