I've always liked this hat, with a nice tall crown and saddle brim. It was delightfully well-worn when I came across it, and I never bothered to try and de-smudge it or anything. Nice little sherriff's star pin (it could be a starfish upon closer inspection) in the front of the crown. There are no issues with the integrity of the felt, liner, or sweatband (other than the pinhole where the star is). My head is too long an oval for this to fit me properly.
