Hello everyone,

I would like to put up for sale my Levi's Vintage Clothing Aviator Jacket made by Aero.

I purchased this jacket from TFL classifieds last year, but I just haven't been able to justify wearing it given that I mostly wear medium and low rise pants. I wore it one since I purchased it. It has otherwise been sitting in my closet.

The jacket is made of Brown Chromexcel Horsehide that has become soft and pliable. Lining in the body is cotton tartan. Zipper is one of those older talon repros that must be treated carefully, but does work. All other hardware is in good working condition.

This jacket as the unique feature of having factory made repairs, to create a worn look, but i believe the patina is authentic. The jacket has signs of wear consistent with a well broken-in jacket, such as creases in the leather and minor surface scuffs. In addition, the stitching has come undone in one small spot in the bottom center panel of the lining. This is easily fixable by yourself or any tailor, and does not appear to be getting any worse with time.

This is a rather short jacket, best worn with higher rise pants.

Measurements are in the photos in the following post.

PRICE: $500 USD + Shipping CONUS PPFF

Please contact by DM if interested.

Thank you,
Khilij

Killer jacket... I had an LVC x Aero double rider that I gave to a buddy a few years back.

The patina was in fact created by hand by the LVC team in San Francisco. They did an excellent job with these... washes, conditioning, putting the jacket through its paces, and an artful application of patches, in order to acquire years of patina fast. So it's certainly not a faux patina with painted-on or dyed fake-wear elements... that break-in is real. But it's not an authentic natural-use patina either. An "accelerated patina" is probably the most accurate descriptor.

What's cool about these jackets is that the lining is new, and while the leather has been "aged" it's via a careful process that retains all the hide's strength and durability. So unlike natural wear, which generally weakens a jacket, you get the look without having to worry about a lining that's falling apart, areas of the stitching coming loose, or portions of the leather weakening or cracking.
