This is a Horsehide 1950-60s college baseball occasion jacket. Beautiful chevron yoke, piping around pockets. Very simple design. Original tag still intact but lining, knits, zipper, and pockets are all bad so I had Alan restore it.
The shell is remarkably strong including the neck, so it was worth the effort, now it’s warm and strong ready to wear.
There are a few similar ones out there but this maker did it right with the pointy collar!
Quilted red lining throughout. Wool blend knits (Alan’s), canvas pocket.
Fits like a 42.
Shoulder: 18”
Back: 24” with knit
Sleeves: 25” with knit
Pit: 21”
Asking for: $350 plus shipping. It’s so lovely and unique, difficult to give up.
