I have for sale a mid-70s 'white label' 7823E G-1 in size 38. It has hardly been worn (the buttonholes are still stiff) and the leather is in excellent condition - quite heavy, stiff and 'creaky' - and is generally smooth with some natural 'jerky' graining on the left sleeve.
The waistband has three small moth holes at the front (through both layers), one at the back (through one layer) and a small pick-hole in one sleeve knit. If you were really choosy your could have the knits replaced and it would be like a brand new 30 year old jacket.
The zipper is by Serval and works well - if anything it needs some use to free it up. The black Dynel collar has no significant wear. The fit is 1970s trim. At 36" chest, 30" waist and just under six feet it fits me well. I am asking 30GBP for it plus shipping at your expense. PM me if you are interested.
