Habock's Velour Cardboard (7 cm x 5 cm) and Metal (7 cm x 3.5 cm) Displays possibly 1920s / 1930s and recent arrivals.

Habock is Heinrich Bock Hutfabrik Berlin. Back in 2015 I found this Habock's Velour, Blum-Velour advertisement (from DHZ 12/10/1928) that showed an alliance between Heinrich Bock Hutfabrik Berlin and Oberösterreich / Upper Austria Carl Blum Weis Velourhutfabrik. Most likely Oberösterreich / Upper Austria Carl Blum Weis Velourhutfabrik suppled Velour Stumpen / Capelines to Heinrich Bock Hutfabrik Berlin possibly finished Velour Hats.

Newly arrived ca. 1930s Hückel Standard, Crystal Velour. Perhaps the "Paris Grand Prix 1900" stamp can place it somewhat more precisely. I don't recall having seen this stamp before on a JHS Velour.

Brim 5.5cm, crown 10.5cm at the front crease, grosgrain ribbon 4.5cm.

The felt is soft and velvety compared to my Hückel Novo Velour and the Hückel Flexible Velour I exchanged with Panos.

I'll take new photos in the daylight ASAP.

Steve, Super find! The Velour finish looks great. All around fantastic! I think it's from around the mid 1930s. Here are some other hats with the same paper label type.

P. & C. Habig Wien, "The Unbreakable Habig Motor - Derby", 23 cm x 20 cm, Advertising Placard. Possibly for the American Market. Need to do more research to determine a possible time period.

P. & C. Habig Wien, "Habig Auto - Capes, Marque deposée, Incassable, Indéformable" / Habig Auto - Capes, Trademark, Unbreakable, Undeformable", 23 cm x 15.5 cm, Advertising Placard. Could be for the French Market. Not sure if "Auto - Capes" is related to "Auto - Cape" patent. I think this is earlier because the "Auto Cape" mark was also used in the Austrian and German Markets. Need to do more research to determine a possible time period.

Alois Pichler Wien, measures 57 cm, no paper label, possibly late 1950s. I am fairly certain the Felt has some Wool content and has a very soft hand and easily dry creases. The Felt is a mélange of mostly gray and green. Not sure if this was made or sourced by Alois Pichler Wien. The components and workmanship are of high quality.

I'm not quite sure, Steve, but I may have to disappoint you: I'm afraid the box, while made and printed in an old style, is a bit younger than you thought (and so did I). The four-digit postal code was apparently introduced in Austria in the 1960s, so at least the address label to Mr. Krammer in Marbach / Danube would have to be younger.

Nevertheless: Habig's hatbox is fantastic and extremely rare - I have only seen a similar one once - for an exorbitant price: So congratulations on this great piece!

A wonderful hat of an extremely rare brand, Steve: congratulations! Really fantastic!
I would have guessed it even older from the gut, as some components like the sweat with the lettering remind me strongly of pre-war/war hats. Anyway, really a great hat!
