P. & C. Habig Wien "Special Qualität", 57cm possibly late 1920s very early 1930s. The medium weight felt is really fantastic and easily dry creases. I have no information on H. Peter but I am checking.

In actuality the companies mentioned still maintained major connections with Austria (specifically Vienna) post WWI. This was especially important because of Czechoslovakia's export restrictions. More here.

J. Hückel´s Söhne Pocke Mirrors probably mid to later 1930s.

There a seven designs presented with some repeats. I have only seen one other design but the sale had ended.

Can't find any paper labels. Ribbon was replaced by what looks to be Optimo at some point. Possibly a Foulard?

Garrett, My guess is early 1930s maybe a bit earlier. I am not sure if it's a Foulard. This is the only German market Sigma I have record of so not sure it matches the American Market Sigma Foulard Velours (not even sure these are all same due to inconsistencies, see below). I also have no information how such names were applied for different markets and time periods.

Garrett, Not sure what it means. My guess for "V" is Velour. There is one other Durit I have record of with the "J V" designation.

Garrett, Update. The "J" could be "Jota" so "J V" is "Jota Velour" but just a guess.

This "Jota Seal Velour" and "Jota" have "Jota" on the paper label.

Garrett, This is a great hat! Thank you for the photos. Rare early American Market A.P. from just after WWI so no longer Austria but still WWI taxed!
