Garrett, Super! That is an old JHS "Extra" made for John Wanamaker.
Very cool additions, Steve. We need more of these catalogs.I received this interesting update from the Novojičín Museum Museum of Hats. There a 3 catalogs (last 4 photos) which should be of great interest.

That is very cool, Steve! And recognition for all the research you do on the history of these hats.Stefan, I will see if I can get details of these catalogs. I am hopefully going to have 3 of my hats on display (and maybe some other items) for the 220 Anniversary of JHS.
Stefan, Thank you! I will update when I learn more. That is very cool, Steve! And recognition for all the research you do on the history of these hats.
Garrett, Thank you for posting this fantastic hat! Does it have a paper label? I have been trying to document the JHS labels.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Garrett, Another fantastic JHS! Thank you for posting the photos.
Garrett, Not sure what it means. My guess for "V" is Velour. There is one other Durit I have record of with the "J V" designation. Thanks, Steve. I'm curious what the "J V" model designation stands for on that label?
Garrett, Update. The "J" could be "Jota" so "J V" is "Jota Velour" but just a guess. Thanks, Steve. I'm curious what the "J V" model designation stands for on that label?
