Evening meal of baked potatoes (bacon, onion, cheese, dab of sour cream and veal stock as a topping), side salad that was served with a sour beer. Mmmm!

Sitting on the deck sipping a dram of Yamazaki single malt 12. This is a glorious taste on a Spring evening. My wife and I agree that that this whiskey is special.

Sipping on the deck this evening and chuckling recalli g with my wife the quote attributed to Johnny Carson, “Happiness is having a rare steak, a bottle of whisky, and a dog to eat the rare steak.”

Be safe, be strong and see you on the street soon, Eric -

You'll miss me! Always like your posts, but I get it, I took a break before when I felt like I was getting too many hats. Hope you come back. I see Moon drifting through every once in a while. Hope you spend your time in ways that are enjoyable.

Thanks. Post exercise this morning Brazilian coffee and tomato/spinach carbonara were the fare. I am eating down at the boathouse watching the lake. My sense of eating traditions are all messed up spending more time at home than I ever have.

On this path I should be son having a beer with my breakfast, and yogurt in the evening with a dram of whiskey.

I tip my brim in your direction, Eric -

Yesterday evening I made an opportunity to slow down and sip some Redbreast 12. A glorious sipping beverage.

I tip my glass towards you folks and Jack. Cheers, Eric -

Saturday's treat after moving mulch was a Founders Harvest Ale. I have "aged" this beer. I have been storing this for over a year. To my taste it has not changed. I like the light, fresh, hoppy taste after some sweaty efforts. To make a more pleasant pic I through on my fleece so that my sweat soaked shirt would not be featured.

Well as you are complimenting Jack, and as I was surreptitiously snapped doing much the same yesterday, I might just agree.

    Cheers sir.

Yesterday evening I sipped some Hamilton Russell Burgandy wine while walking around the property.

I got chided by my wife for not using a stemmed wine glass. I accepted it, but I chose the solid crystal as when mucking about it feels better in the hand. Choices.

    Best, Eric -

    Happy Cinco de Mayo!

  16. It started out once upon a time as Quattro de Mayo.

And then suddenly it was Cinco de Mayo.

Sipping local this morning. Local beer was delivered to my driveway earlier this morning. What could be better!

An Omni Brewing Gary dry hopped IPA. This beer was made in collaboration with Mitch Garver (Gary) fresh off his breakout season with the Minnesota Twins. It honors his New Mexican roots in combination of celebration of Cinco De Mayo earlier week. Lovely Dry Hopped finishing taste to this one off beer.

Yesterday I sipped some of my local brewers Lime Gose. Omni Brewing Peel'n is
a tart beer with crushed lemon, orange zest, coriander and sea salt. After a late afternoon run the beer was refreshing.
