AH-HAH! I now know where all those brand new vintage hats come from! You guys in the secret hat society are sharing a newly found cache of hat seeds. I never knew they grew on those stems. You can see that Mr P's more southerly location has yielded a hat blossom that is not fully dormant as indicated by the green hue.

My Stetsondraceae was thriving, until this latest blast of cold Michigandian weather hit us here in the SE corner of the state. Poor thing lost all of its hat blossoms; had to move it back in the house. Hopefully it'll warm back up soon enough, so I can transplant it outside for good for the season, and take pics when its in full bloom.
