IMO, Reyn's makes the classic aloha shirt.

Reyn's Downtown Rack (this is their discount store...it's a small shop and has pretty good selection. The shirts are in the $40 range vs $80)

Thanks, Dave, I'll check out what I can when I'm there. Most of the Hawaiian shirts I buy have WWII military themes. I get them at the Pearl Harbor gift shop,the Army Museum of Hawaii gift shop, or at the Home of the Brave Museum in Honolulu.

I like to have lunch at the House Without a Key in Waikiki. It's a low key, nice atmosphere on the beach. Lunch prices were reasonable...I see they have gone up.

By the way, if you've been to Oahu before you know to look out for those lunch wagons with BBQ and hot shrimp and fish, many are up by the North Shore.
