It's my job to read the threads, so I can't ignore your posts.
If the friendly and helpful members here had known you were only looking for information so you could sell the jacket, I doubt that any of them would have been so helpful. They get tired of giving information to a one shot new member so he can sell his items.
I can’t imagine why people wouldn’t return when greeted with such warmth from you. Perhaps people would be more inclined to stick around and participate more in the community if you showed some kindness.
And who said I was leaving? I’m certainly not passionate about jackets or clothing, but I never said I was leaving. Just because I’m selling a leather jacket means I won’t return? Seems like an odd conclusion to draw.
Making new people feel unwelcomed is a strange strategy to try to get them to stick around, don’t you think?
