Fed, I can back you up, since I have a Knox 100: it is the single nicest hat I've ever handled. Whenever the weather is good, I wear it; it's too lovely a hat not to wear, but I want to keep it nice.

We see Stetson 100s quite often. I've even seen a fair number of Churchill 100s. But Knoxers.... well, very few.
To answer facade, I'd almost say that a Knox 100 is one of those "U can't tough this" hats.
But, I'd probably say that the biggest "U can't touch this" hat would be a true, made-by-th-man-hisself Stetson from the 1860s/70s.
Now that would be something to have!
