In the front and back it's 6cm, and on the sides it's 5cm. (I don't know in inches).
It looked to me as if the brim was bound, if not, Brent has found the possible solution. Your Cauly could well be a Lord's hat. It's a Homburg without a brim binding. If it is, you should steam and curl the brim a bit.

If yours is a Lord's hat, and it could well be, then the brim has flattened. Give it some steam and curl it as you will.
A Lord's hat is more or less a Homburg without a bound brim.
