Here’s our full Hornskov collection.

Back middle: Wool Centre Dent. I bought this as a kind of trial for my first custom hat.
Back left: Beaver felt Broker in Camel with a Moss ribbon. My 2020 Christmas present.
Back right: Etsuko’s 2020 Christmas present. A beaver felt Author in Camel with a Wine ribbon.
Front left: Beaver blend Mogul in Natural with a dark brown ribbon.
Front right: Western weight beaver blend Rancher in Stone with a Dusty Rose ribbon.
I’m not sure if there will be any more, but I do love these hats.
Etsuko loves the quality and feel of hers, but is not entirely happy with the shape - the brim was flatter than she likes. We’ve added some shape with steam, but she’s still not 100%. We’re considering an Indy Turn.

Hello. Just received a beautiful steel blend Redaktor with forest ribbon. Felt feels great and pliable - the style is like a soft homburg. Thanks.
Congratulations. I’ve seen the Redaktor on his Facebook page several times. I really like the way it looks, but I’ve promised myself that if I do get another Hornskov, it won’t have a pencil curl.

Congrats! Love the hat but not sure if the pencil curl brim edge treatment is my thing.

That's the beauty of a custom hat, you can order it to your liking.
Hi Steve, yes...the custom thing is.... I think this is the direction I'm going.
The Redactor Bash and front pinches I find are almost radical in character. I am sure the redactor gets some comments. It polarizes...
I like it alot !

Ja, I love it's 1930s/40s New York journalist look.

It's my New Year's resolution to order a Hornskov. Don't tell Gary @The Shoe though, he'll just rag me about it :)

I hope Hornskov start paying you two for your modelling, Gary.

I'm definitely going to mention your names once I get round to ordering one.
Thanks Steve. I think I’m one behind Marcel, but the same number with Etsuko‘s hat included.
No cheques in the mail from Hornskov as far as I’m aware.
Their prices went up a while ago, which I guess can’t be helped, but I was shocked to find that the points system had changed and I no longer qualified for the 25% discount. Peter was very good, though. When I talked to him about it, he said, without any hesitation that he’d add 1000 points to my account so I could get the discount. Not being sure if or when I could get another at the new prices, I got two at the discounted price.:)

Hi Guys...
So here it finally is...
My first Hornskov and first bash attempt.
This is a Molbech in Steel with Sand (petersham) ribbon.
(Still calling it my first custom regardless of what anyone thinks! )
The Molbech came as open crown.
I like the way the bash turned out, will bring the brim down in the front.
A couple of things here...
The whole Hornskov experience was pleasant.
Packaging, shipping, presentation were all top notch.
I have never felt/ touched such a felt before.
Yes, I do like the feel and finish ( 50/50 mix ).
If I have anything to nit pick about, then it is with the depiction of the ribbon color.
(This may have something to do with color depiction Re; my laptop or other)
The ribbon is called sand, has a very slight olive tinge to it...or maybe I'm getting color blind.
Anyway, I do love the hat and my first Hornskov experience !
Hope you enjoy my Pics !
Greetings from DE

Looks super, Samson25. The ribbon looks sand coloured to me.

Photographing ribbon is fraught with difficulty. It reflects light so differently that it is impossible to get it accurate. I had the good fortune to snag 100 yards of beautiful silk blend Slate coloured grosgrain ribbon from my supplier . She gave it to me..gratis...as she tired of customer complaints that the colour they received was different than her listing. She gave up and gave it away.
