I feel strange without it now.

When I started wearing fedoras, I felt like I stood out whenever I wore one, so I only wore them for sun protection. Now I don't feel quite dressed without one when outdoors.

As for rain, I wear my felt hats if I am caught by a shower, but I have a filson waxed cotton hat for real wet weather. It is not quite a fedora but it is functional with flair.

I always wear one when I leave the house. I left the house a couple of minutes late for work the other day. In my rush I forgot my hat , I got about two miles from the house and relized what I had done. I figured I late anyway so I went back and got it, Couldn't stand the thoufgt of going with out it. I also must confess that sometimes I forget to take the last new one I bought from Duane off when I come in. It is so lite that I forget it's even there.

Of the 365 days in the year I wear it about 300 days. In fact the other day i was in the dog park and two people mentioned that they did not recognize me without my hat.

Today was Borsalino Day!

I like to wear a hat every day, however, it doesn't always happen that way. The last place i worked i did not want to leave a good hat un-attended, would not wear it inside at work and did not want to leave a fine hat inside a scorching million degree vehicle. So, those days I wore a baseball cap, mostly. Currently, as a part time sale rep, i wear a fedora when on business with out fail. On my spare time i usually do wear one of the collection.

I wear a hat every day. It's rare that I don't wear a hat. Mrs. RedPop4 is still not disposed to my fedoras, so on occasion when we'll be together going to eat somewhere, or to Church, I'll not wear one. But those days are maybe once or twice each month.

It's usually freezing cold where I work so I keep it on at my desk.

Man's Bowler/Derby-Odd NR

Very stiff, box says "Steel" so it must be silver/grey. No size tag, measure 23 inches around the inside. Leather sweatband appears to be missing. No rips, tears, stains or odors. Edge of brim is razor sharp.

Purchased at estate sale in Hollywood, reportedly feaured in a movie in the early 1960s.
