I've got my eye on a short brown leather jacket in a shop near me...
It's very old going by the style and wear/patina on the leather, I'd say 1950's at the latest...very heavy, thick steerhide....very worn and in need of some emergency Pecards
It seems to me German/French cycle in style, short, two flapped waist pockets without buttons/press studs, two brass slanted chest zips with delicate spearhead shaped "RUHR" pulls, strangely the zips are just for show, there's no pockets beneath...
The main zip has the ZIPP lightning flash and "88" on it, this might be a replacement by the look of it.
I've made a quick and nasty paintshop mockup to show roughly what is looks like, it's actually shorter than this though...
