Forget the mohawk, pierced face, and tons o' bling. In today's big city the simple suit, sports coat, and fedora amongst friends will bring you all the (unwanted) attention you can stand.
Get together with these guys for lunch and revel in the comments like, "are you in a band", " can I take a picture with you", and my personal favorite, "are you in a barbershop quartet?"

very dapper, gentlemen! Is that, by chance, the corner of 23rd and 5th? I used to live right there and looks very familiar...

I used to freak out when people got 40's and 50's styles confused. Actually people are off by whole half centuries, aren't they?
When were these shots taken? If it was last week, I'm sorry I missed it. I was in beautiful Chautauqua, which I will be posting pictures of tonight.

Now that's the sharpest lookin' bunch of mugs I've seen in a while. That "barbershop quartet" crack was either very brave or very foolish...you never know what that one fellow on the left might be packin' in his briefcase!;)

Insert a long low whistle here.....golly gee, which one of you nice fellas would like to help a lady across this big ol' busy street? lol

I think if I saw a group of men on the street looking as good as you all do, I would simply swoon!

:eek:fftopic: I just love a man in good, well-fitting suit. My beau and I are currently on the lookout for something that will fit him correctly. I never knew it could be so hard!

That's what we call so conservative, it's not conservative. You'd fit right in at our Mansion.

  13. I need a close up of the pattern on Senator Jacks jacket and on your's too Feraud. They look like great patterns. Why don't they make decent material with cool patterns anymore? :eusa_doh:

You guys are look'in good! Great pics!

People say the silliest things sometimes but hopefully the classiness of your dress and manners will have a good effect on them and somehow will enter into their consciousness. :) Like jeez, I can dress and look fantastic just like those guys.

  17. And while you're at it, rush into the store and buy me one. :p
You could just tell me where you got it though.:D
That is a hound's tooth? It looks so different from afar. I'll be interested in seeing the pictures?

What? You mean they forgot to include "Are you going to a fancy dress party?" That's the classic, the standard, the all-time stock-favourite stupid comment of 'em all. And they left it out. Tsk, tsk, tsk . . .

    Man, you guys look sharp!
