I've been combing the internet and found these at Amazon in packs of 3 @ $13.33 each. They work great and are stackable.

Brim Deformation in Storage?

Do you have hats with a soft brim that flatten out during storage? A "brim riser" raises the brim up from its storage surface and allows it to tilt/fall down if desired. Formed out of pool noodle quartered long ways, cut to desired length and then glued together to form a circle just larger than the hat band.

Anyone else have a spare office at your workplace like this (but not work with hats)? I can't be the only crazy one, right?

Also, does anyone ever use these for hat storage/ hat travel? I love them and actually have a few up for sale on eBay
and they really are great.

a while back I picked up a nice older Samsonite hat case for road trip storage. Think they called them railroad cases for overhead luggage bin storage. Im guessing 1960s since its almost identical to a set of Samsonite luggage my folks had back then. It is a solid unit so NOTHING is going to crush a hat in there

Bought a set of three for my westerns, and will see how it goes. Initial impression is good!

For those that remember, my wife and I relocated to Jerusalem. After much to do in a different city, we have finally moved to our rented apartment. The previous occupants left me some gifts (hats are all mine, including a newly arrived Borsalino, yes, even during wartime).
