Yep... I visited Mike at Buckaroo Hatters in Covington TN today!
It was a great visit , nice to see an ol' friend and even better when I went home with a hat!
Mike pulled out a piece of felt and 'we' started to work on it.
Little did I know it would finish up on my head!!!!

First off meet the proprietor of the joint...

Rusty! You got ripped off! Maybe if you got an extra topping he would have given you a full size ribbon!

Since you don't like teardrops as well as you do diamonds, Rusty, you might ought to send that one to me. :D Nice!

What a great photo essay on your lid.
Thanks for sharing.

Hope it was a decent pizza you got the gentleman. If it was frozen, hope it was at least an "Ultimate" as is the hat. That is a great looking hat with a story to boot.

Mike has a complete Formillion that has a tag that dates it to 1844... maybe he can tell a little about it.
If you ever get to the shop please ask him to show it to you!

It looks like Mike's shop has shaped up a lot since we've seen pictures last. It's looking really good, Mike. I saw a fedora or two on the rack there I like. How about a closer look at the one on the bottom shelf with the striped ribbon?
