Hey yall, someone on reddit recommended me this site & upon further research I believe yall can help me out (even though what I'm asking is kinda a strech). I've been trying to find the leather jacket Brad Pitt wore in his 1997 film "The Devil's Own" (or something that's basically identical). I just love the baggy, wide cuff, collar style of the jacket & also how the length is kinda short plus the elastic ribbed bottom (I think that's what it's called l. I know it's for fetched but, any help would be much appreciated & as always have a good day

P.S some pictures are attached

I suspect the original was a fairly generic-style jacket, in the civilian aviator style that was popular back in the 80s & 90s. A style that first became popular in the forties, that came back round in fashion worn more 'oversized'.

There's something about the width of those cuffs in conjunction with the knit waistband that suggests to me this jacket would originally have also had knit cuffs that have been removed. Possibly a simple style choice, though it could also be for practical reasons. It's been a long time since I saw this picture, so I don't recall if there was a plot point where Pitt hide something up his sleeve that he needed to access at speed. It could also have been as simple as the jacket was a bit big on him making the sleeves too long, so they cut the knits off to deal with that. A previous owner could have done the same if it was sourced used for the production. I've seen even real, wartime A2s where the knits had gotten damaged or stretched out and were just cut off.

That being so, the nearest I can think of to this is the Aero Happy Days:

Thank You! Yes the cuffs may have been deliberately widend because his character was somewhat a rebel (for concealing a gun). I'll probably get something similar & tailor it
