It must be a Cuenca

Last week I asked the members if the hats I bought on Ebay were Montecristi or Cuenca and the response was to post better pics when I got them. They came today and are great looking Panamas, vintage from the 40s, but certainly look like Cuencas. Here are some pics...

Well, they may be Cuencas, but they are really nice hats and I will be more comfortable traveling with this hat then a hat worth many hundreds of dollars. And I love the color of an aged Panama hat!

Looks like a cuenca to me but heck I have a few of them myself and they are better hats than some of the stuff you get today from those manufacturers. I say enjoy them clean em up with a little Nustraw from Bickmore and you are set.
