So I got this idea from @handymike in another thread and thought it could be fun to pair jackets with theme songs. Hopefully more while chime in and add to the thread.

I’ve been low key thinking of this while I’ve been about my day, and this is what I’ve come up with thus far.
For some reason, I found it really hard to find fitting theme songs for my Aero jackets and I didn’t want to force anything. So I’m starting off with four of my vintage jackets where (for whatever reason) I found that I could easily decide on a song that I think fits the jacket.

    1. Vintage Swedish goat jacket (black)

And the theme song is Warren Zevon’s Excitable boy:
No real reason, I just thought the song fit the jacket for some reason. They share something in that I really like them but don’t listen to/wear them that often.

Theme song is Battle hymn by Manowar:

The first thing that come to my mind when I think of biker cross zip jackets is metal music and metal heads. I’ve had fun with Manowar since I was a teenager and it’s just a great fit for this jacket. This is what I would wear for a Manowar concert.
As a side note, there’s a really fun drinking game that’ll get you drunk in no time at all. Listen to Manowar and every time you hear the word “kill” you have to take a shot.

    3. Vintage Ibex suede trucker

George Strait - Amarillo by morning

    L
eather and suede truckers makes me think of cowboys and rodeos. And it’s a great song!

    4. Vintage Swedish goat (brown)

Monika Zetterlund - Vi bygger landet

I realise this last one will be hard to relate to for everyone who don’t know swedish. But this old piece of Swedish work wear just had to be paired up with an old Swedish song. This one is a tribute to all the people who worked hard in the fields and factories to “build the land” (”vi bygger landet” translates to “we build the land”).

That last one looks incredible! That leather is some of the best I've seen. Would'nt look out of place on one of those high end japanese jackets.

Alright I’m at work but when I get home I’m all over this. Such a fun idea. Especially if like me you have a jacket obsession and also a music obsession. I play bass and a little rhythm guitar. But I’m calling this. I’m going to try and match all my jackets to one band. Try and match my favorite bands catalogue to each of my jackets. Which I have a bunch for sale right now in the classifieds and I’ll mark that here if anyone is interested. My favorite band is The Clash so I’m calling them. Can’t wait to get home. And awesome fitting choices so far.

Don’t worry they have a few songs about the police. For example Police and Thieves. There’s plenty to go around. Can’t wait to get home! But police on my BACK is an inspired cheeky choice. Love it.

Are those tv-shows? They look awesome! Ninjas and light sabres and transforming robots are just a few of the things that I love.

Really fun theme songs all around!
