JFK's Inauguration Top Hat Now on Display

JFK's inauguration top hat, which is reported to have never before been displayed, is currently on display at the JFK Library in Boston. I saw a blurb about it in my paper today, but here's the original news release from the library:

Has anyone in Boston seen it? I'd be interested to know the brand.

Did LBJ not wear one? I don't know if he did or not, but he would have been the last logical one.

Judging from Ike's advanced looking age, and relieved expression, and ****'s trying to be a good sport about it all expression, I would bet one and a half cookies it's JFK's inauguration.

I believe that photo is of JFK's inauguration as outgoing pres. Eisenhower and VP Nixon attended. I have seen many photos of LBJ's ceremony and he seems to have gone hatless, but I could be wrong. Nixon was not president until the 1968 election and he most certainly did not wear a topper during his.
