Kerry Keith fedora

Can anyone give me some background imformation about Kerry Keith fedora's?
I have to admit that i have never heard of this brand before, and would like to know if they were popular in the 1930's /40's. And if they were classed as quality hats. Would be grateful if anyone can help, because i can't find any imformation about them.

My thoughts exactly...purchased it from the US a few months ago. On the leather band it reads Porter's Third Avenue At 20th Street BIRMINGHAM. Then Long Oval and then Kerry Keith. I will have to try and take some pics of it.

Thanks Mr Lyles....that is where my fedora was purchased from, but trying to date the hat, hoping it was 1940's but could be 1950's.

Could it be a small time hatter and/or a department store that had hats made for them by Mallory or Adams (or some such) and then resold them under their own name?

That was a rather common practice in retailing; still is actually. The house brand.
