Hey gang,
I've got a Lamy Safari with a flat 1.5 mm nib. This skips on a regular basis. I use proper fountain pen ink, and store it upright. I've flushed the nib with warm water a few times. Works fine for a while and then stops.
I think the problem may be that the nib is scratching the paper, and causing minute particles of paper/ink to build up.
Any tips? (pun intended)
