Greetings:

Allow me to introduce myself as I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

Does anyone have a lead to a person that paints leather squadron patches at "reasonable" prices? My first squadron was the 108th Air Refueling Squadron and it still has a patch decended from an orignal Disney design. I would love to find an artist who could recreate the WWII version in painted leather for me.

Welcome to WWII

At the very top of the WWII room here, there is our very own Reference Library link that you can click on. Under the Jacket Art section within the library you will find a multitude of talented artists who produce qualtiy, detailed, and researched squadron and group patches. Hope that helps! Good luck.

Squadron Patches

Hello,

I am a newbie too, but I also will say welcome.

Last year I was searching for a special patch for moderate price and I found Robin in the UK. He did a great job!

I payed for a handpainted 368th FG / 398th FS leather patch and an additional 9th Air Force patch something around 30 Pounds.

Here is what he made:

The squadron patch is 5 inches wide, plus additional space for the wing tips and the gunsmoke.

I hope that will help.
