I can't stand the sight of my hairy legs either as it is a deeply grotesque visage that I wouldn't want to bestow upon any living creature, myself included. Men are horrid looking creatures and blessed are the few fully awoken to this fact.

Linen shirts, short sleeves, baggy shorts and light, slip-on footwear. A linen cap is also a good idea. When you are all geared up, apply beer.

Women’s motives and preferences are weird, there is no making sense of them. Except for lesbians, I totally get that. But being into men, ***ually, being aroused by men’s bodies? That’s just bizarre.
I’m also firmly in the anti-shorts camp. Men (myself included of course) should cover their weird and ugly bodies as much as they can, for the sake of decency and respect for the people around them.

Yeah maybe if you wear shorts and flipflop often enough youll develop lower heat tolerance and more confidence in that outfit and dont mind going out in that, but it can work the other way too if you wear long pants and shoes everyday it will not feel like overdressed or overheated in it since your body will adjust,

and just by comparing both outfits visually long pants and shoes will triumph over shorts and flipflops anyday.
Beside how would you wear leather jackets with shorts and flipflops... it is impossible.
So... winners wear long pants.

Even women with the most beautiful legs outside of photoshoot or appreciation are better looking in long pants and highheel shoes or boots in my own opinion

not even Mickey Mouse nor Sponge Bob...

For me, it’s 90 % serious with just a little exaggeration added for intended comical effect. I really don’t like shorts. I will still wear them but only when it’s too hot to wear pants. I’ve long since given up on trying to look good in them though, so I’ve resigned to looking like a total slob in summer heat.

I dont have shorts, i have one jogger in 3/4 that i almost never wear unless i wash my motorcycle, and one camo cargo pants that can be changed into shorts with zipper around the thigh, but that will never happen.

Found that horrible RRL gauze trucker on eBay. It was buried in women's clothes so at least the price was good. That, and some noname. That one will probably turn out to be failure but we'll see. If it fits decent, I'm happy.

I am totally with you on this. I do not like shorts on women either. I agree with you fully that aside from certain situations, long pants or dresses and heels/boots look better on women in my view. I actually think Bart could use a pair of jeans though

Ha! I hate shorts the same way I hate flares. Or shellsuits. If other people want to wear 'em and look ridiculous.... Well, I probably look equally ridiculous to them, so.

A tan will forgive much of the lumpiness of the body- long shorts help if you're bothered about legs. I would never, ever have put on shorts until moving to temperatures where trousers would have resulted in extreme discomfort; luckily, those same temperatures delivered quite a lot of sunlight and I felt better about shorts. If I see poor, benighted foreigners bowling around in long trousers and long sleeves in 38+ degree C heat in the Far East, I reassure them: 'Get some shorts on- out here, you look weird, anyway'.

Thanks, Corky! It's been posted already however and the lining ruins it for me at least. Defeats the purpose of linen. Would've been a contender otherwise!

I believe native plains men wore rather wore little during the summer when Europeans invaded what is now referred to as US heartland. Do to sensitivity issues I will not express my opinion of the practice.
