Why I like Cats,

My dog Zeus can do both. He would also try to jump high enough to get the bird---maybe even try to climb the tree.
He would also want the whole steak not the piece you dropped on the floor.

I had an Abyssinian sneak a steak right off my plate once. I was being polite and waiting for everybody else to be served. But kitties don't know about polite. Up on the table, chomp!, and dragged it away.

Never had that problem with the cat but one of our previous dogs did it with a whole damn roast once.

I once had a stray cat come in my kitchen window and steal the entire topping off a pizza that was cooling on top of the stove -- he took the sauce, the cheese, the sausages, and the pepperoni. And left only the crust behind.

I was surprised there wasn't a note reading "what, no anchovies?"

Well, perhaps it is because an incident that my mother always used to tell about how my grandmother came home from the butcher one day and brought a package for the dog and one for dinner. Yeah, she got confused and the dog got the dinner meat.

It was funny. I bought a large addition for my trainset today and it was all in that box. We were fiddling with it over at my parents' and I saw jinxy inching her way toward the box. I told my brother "I give her 5 minutes and she'll be in that box" About 30 seconds later she had herself in there. I couldn't believe a 30 pound cat could jump like that lol

Our friend's cat, Mr. Peeps, so named because he doesn't meow, he says "peep".

and his best buddy, Bushy.

and the Z dogs are being very good for their bath. Puppy dogs that actually like to be clean are a blessing upon any house.

30 pounds? How old is that cat? I know your 22 pound cat is getting up there.

I'm not sure how old she is. We got her from a shelter last spring, when we got Mom her dog.
