Here's a link to the one I received three years ago. Eric (@Short Balding Guy) has one later in the thread. I think there are a few others on the Lounge. You can look at those until you get yours. :D

I’m really wanting to see it in natural light and see the real color of the cactus ribbon.

Yeah same here, I asked Michael if he had a photo in natural light, but if not I may just have to practice some patience - not my strong suit.

Oh trust me, I read through this entire thread. He made some beautiful hats for you, Eric, and moontheloon amongst others. It’s what influenced my moss green decision. Still wondering if I should have gone with a charcoal or contrasting ribbon / binding but I knew I wouldn’t regret a monochrome hat so I played it a little safe. I don’t even have this one yet and I’m already thinking up another.

I saw this on Instagram, but missed it here. An absolutely wonderful, hat. You're making me want a hat in Sahara felt now!

Thanks Tuk. I'm hoping for an early fall in Texas so I can give it some head time.

So my Gannon arrived today. I love it. The moss green looks spectacular in person. I’m happy with the choice on the Cactus ribbon. It fits like a glove. I can’t find anything that isn’t extremely well executed.

The felt has a nice hand and it’s surprisingly soft. I’m pretty certain I will be getting back on his list within a few days

Thanks Brent! It feels surprisingly close to vintage felt. I’m thrilled!

WOW! Green moss goodness is in your pics. The cactus thin ribbon trimming is excellent. Congrats sir.

Thanks SBG! You would know! It was one of your hats that inspired the moss choice! Don’t you have like 10 Gannon’s?!

Truly your hat is lovely. I do need more thin ribbon hats.

How many - one less than I desire of course.

Green moss is a fav of mine for modern hats. (Two Gannon and a VS fedora pictured).

I wish Michael could get some sage beaver felt. I would love a mid-ribbon version of my VS (pictured below).

I agree on the sage. The current willow color is interesting, but the pale sage would be wonderful.

Wonderful display! The moss is such a chameleon the colour always looks different. I was going to ask to see yours again ( I read through this whole thread ) but I thought I might get my wish and here they are! The hat with the gills is that a charcoal ribbon? It was a close call between charcoal and cactus as Michael pointed out the moss felt brings out the green tones in the charcoal. I gravitate towards the thin ribbon as I pretty much exclusively wear western dress hats but I'm considering upping my ribbon width on the next one. Thanks for the show! Also love the sage - I need something light that isn't silverbelly.

Excellent hat, you won't be disappointed with a Gannon!
