For me it's the trousers: the waistband and belt loops, with what appears to be a relatively low waist. Also the pockets would be the style I would expect on a later suit (post 1950s) if it were British.
(That said the photos aren't great and I don't have any experience with French suits, so I might be completely wrong)

Like TT, the style of trousers. But also the waistcoat with only 2 pockets, and the buttons on the jacket.

Vest pockets didn't even register on my radar, but I'm glad the ole vintage RDF pinged for those buttons too; they are similar to ones I see on a lot of American suits from the '50s. Continental suits are tricky for me, probably because I see comparatively few of them though.

Do you ever see that pocket style on earlier European trousers? I know I see it fairly often on American made pants from the mid-50s on.
