I don't know if any of you guys have tried making your own shirts, but my grandmother is a great seamstress and used to make me several shirts back in the day (10 years old, you know). I'm looking for a pattern for a vintage shirt like this one from from J. Peterman: Gatsby Shirt

If any of you guys have any sources for vintage shirt patterns, or have a link to a pattern for this shirt itself, I'd like to hear of it.

Thanks,
-Kodiak

Thanks for that link, but I don't think that one will work. The bib front isn't like the shirt I want. If it helps, I'm trying to make a shirt like the one "Fedora" wears in the opening scenes of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Here is another link to something like what I want. Scroll down, it's the "Gus Shirt" http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/cb/cb.asp?a=29250

Thanks,

Laughing Moon has one. I've made their cancan dress successfully, but I haven't tried the men's shirt.

Thank you very much! I think that this is exactly what I want. I will check with my "tailor" but this is great.

Thank you all very much,
