need some reference photos of the backside of hatpins...

I'm having a friend of mine make me a custom silver hatpin, and I'm hoping some of you could provide me with some photos of the backside of hatpins for him to reference. I only have a modern stetson logo pin myself, and would like to see what other fastening designs there are, so we can decide what would work best for his piece... do they all pierce the ribbon, or are there any clip designs out there?

the hatpin design he is making me is rather small, about the size of a dime. and probably relatively heavy for its size.
