Hello All,
Discovered this site by accident and am glad to be here.

Started life as a farm kid in California and wore mostly westerns. When I was a kid my first straw western was eaten by one of our cows when I left it on a fence post - a good lesson in hat care.

Have learned a lot in the short time I been here - makes, models, makers, and what makes a decent lid. Am wearing an old Stetson Open Road (will try for a better pic) that I scored on ebay after this hat was mentioned here on another thread.

This forum is my morning cup of coffee.

Welcome to the forum... The open road is one of the nicer all purpose hats... dressy and a bit of a cowboy feel.
