new to hats

i am very new to hats but they are so adorable i can no longer resist. so i bought my very first hat the other day it was a rare sight in my local thrift store. so i grabbed it espacially at the price of 2.95. there were some flaws such as the back seems to have had some feathers on it that were removed partially, so i cannot tell how it was supposed to look. my camera is no where to be found so i cannot post a pic but the pic i posted is of a similar hat. the color of my hat is cream and has the netting too but in the center of the back is where the removed feathers were. Any idea on how to repair or make it wearable? also where can i get it cleaned and repaired?
