So I went to Subway today for a Hoagy and a Salad (salad is for my wife).
Suddenly I am faced with several employees who seem to be staring at me(watching, admiring, etc...). Then one woman tells me that I look like I steped out of the Twenty's. I think she was off by a decade or two, but nonetheless. Several patrons then started to take notice. I started to hear comments like "I could never pull off that look, but he looks good." and "Where did you find that hat?" and "How do you get your moustache to stay in that position?"
I really did not try to dress vintage this morning. I have on dungarees, light blue an white tailess shirt open at the collar. My new B! Wear grey herring bone 8 panel. And, of all things black Chuck Taylor Converse All Stars. To top it all off, I had my moustache waxed and curled (I use Brother's Love Moustache Wax from Germany is had the best holding ability I have found).
Quite an enjoyable experience I must say.
