The State of Louisiana is considering legislating on this matter...

The other thing that I notice is when our cream of the crop wears just a t-shirt to walk down the street only to go to the bar. I mean it's a good mile from the dorms!
What ever... I know I did the same when I was a kid and I also know that more than once I ended up sick as a dog.
They are planning on burning the illness out with liquor.
"But some residents are bothered by the idea of banning pajamas in public. Tracy Carter, a resident of Shreveport, told the Times she and her three young children wear pajamas in public often. “I can get out of the bed and go to the store, and they’re covering everything,” she said. “I’ve got a 3-year-old, a 5-year-old and a 12-year old to deal with.”The State of Louisiana is considering legislating on this matter...

Whether right or wrong, defining pajamas and when they're allowed to be worn isn't something the government should get involved in.

I'd love to be able to send this woman back in time about 150 years so she can tell the pioneers how tough she's got it.

Exactly, but not even that long ago my grandmother had three kids and she managed to always look like a lady when leaving the house. She would have never worn bed clothes in public. All I can see is my grandparents turning in their grave.
